Voters Rights Benefit

The Musicians for the Greater Good April benefit concert focuses on the need for voting rights reform in the state of Texas. Texas has one of the most draconian voting rights laws in the country. The Texas law has provisions that will make it harder for most people to vote and disenfranchise minority groups, such as poor blacks and Latinos and people with disabilities.
Our concert will feature an outstanding group of musicians from Texas and other parts of the country, as well as expert presentations to help; our audience understand the anti-democratic provisions of the new Texas voting rights law. The concert also will be a benefit fundraiser for the Texas Gubernatorial campaign of Democrat Beto O’Rourke.
The concert will take place on April 24 at 5:00 PM Eastern time, 3:00 PM Central and 2:00 PM Pacific.
