DESCRIPTION:March 5\, 2023\, 5-7pm : MGG World Peace concert \n\n\n\nMusicians for Greater Good  (MGG)\, in collaboration with the Parliament of  the World’s Religions\, announce a Benefit Concert for World Peace on Sunday March 5 from 5:00-7:00 PM. The concert will be broadcast virtually and can be accessed through the MGG YouTube channel or by going to the MGG website (www.musiciansforthegreatergood.org ) and clicking the WATCH/LISTEN button. \nLeading musicians from different countries will perform at this concert\, intended to draw attention to the need for a peaceful resolution to the many conflicts going on across the globe; such as the conflicts between Ukraine and Russia and Palestine and Israel; the conflicts within different African countries such as Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Congo;  conflicts within countries in Asia and the Middle East such as Myanmar\, Syria\, and  Yemen; conflicts in Eastern Europe such as the conflict between Serbia and Kosovo; domestic unrest in Latin American countries such as Peru and Venezuela; and the cold wars between China and the United States\, Russia and the West to name just a few. \nThe concert will be a benefit for work done by the Parliament of the World’s Religions  to promote  peace and justice\, human rights and environmental sustainability. The Parliament  is the world’s largest\, most diverse\, and inclusive interfaith organization. DESCRIPTION:In the United States\, violence against indigenous women has reached unprecedented levels on tribal lands and in Alaska Native villages. More than 4 in 5 American Indian and Alaska Native women have experienced violence\, and more than 1 in 2 have experienced sexual violence. Alaska Native women continue to suffer the highest rate of forcible sexual assault and have reported rates of domestic violence up to 10 times higher than in the rest of the United States.\nMusicians for the Greater Good is raising money for the Indian Law Resource Center to help fund their efforts to stop this violence\, support the victims and educate the public.\nThe concert will take place on Sunday\, May 22 at 5:00 PM Eastern time\, 3:00 PM Central and 2:00 PM Pacific. DESCRIPTION:The Musicians for the Greater Good April benefit concert focuses on the need for voting rights reform in the state of Texas.  Texas has one of the most draconian voting rights laws in the country. The Texas law has provisions that will make it harder for  most people to vote and disenfranchise minority groups\, such as  poor blacks and Latinos and people with disabilities. \nOur concert will feature an outstanding group of musicians from Texas and other parts of the country\, as well as expert presentations to help; our audience  understand the anti-democratic provisions of the new Texas voting rights law. The concert also will be a benefit fundraiser for the Texas Gubernatorial campaign of Democrat Beto O’Rourke. \nThe concert will take place on April 24 at 5:00 PM Eastern time\, 3:00 PM Central and 2:00 PM Pacific.

In the fall of 2007 Tom quit the road to produce records\, raise two stepdaughters\, and walk a rather large Golden Doodle named Thurman twice a day. In addition to producing\, he took a job teaching music at White Rock Montessori in Dallas. From headlining major festivals 20 years ago\, to the relative obscurity of a recording studio – Tom continued to mature as an artist. That work blossomed into an impressive resume of producing credits as well as cuts (his songs covered by other artists). In 2014\, Tom’s returned to the road. His new release “ADAGIO” – features bass guitar legend Chuck Rainey\, and piano virtuoso Julie Bonk who was Norah Jones teacher – all masterfully produced by Jagoda.
